Clifton Waco BowenPublished Wednesday, August 9, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneClifton Waco Bowen, 80, of Bellflower, Calif., died Tuesday, August 1, 2000. in the Long Beach Veteran's Administration Medical Center. Mr. Bowen was the son of Dee and Annie Bowen (deceased) of Hope and Prescott and the only brother of Effie (deceased) Lee Harris of Prescott. Uncle Bud' retired from Rockwell International, where he helped plan the space shuttle. He was also a real estate developer. Survivors include two nephews, Donald Harris of Prescott and Kenith Harris of Nashville; and one niece, Mary Ann Harris of Hope; and a number of great nephews and nieces.
