Mini Cheer Camp ScheduledPublished Wednesday, August 9, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneMini Cheer Camp will be held August 14-18 at Prescott Elementary activity center. The cost, due at registration, will be $25 per child and will include a Mini Cheer Camp t-shirt. Campers will be able to register by calling 887-0161 or 887-5516 before August 14 or they can register when the camp starts according to the schedule below. Three-year-old to first-grade children will register Monday, August 14, at 5:15 p.m. Their class will begin at 5:30 and last until 6:30. Second-grade to sixth-grade students will register Monday, August 14, at 6:15 p.m. Their class will be from 6:30 7:30. The mini cheerleaders will be involved in more activities this year than in the past years. They will cheer at one home game or more and pep rally and will have designated seating at all home football and basketball games where they will cheer as a pep squad. In addition any camper coming to a home football or basketball game in an approved cheer camp uniform will receive free entry into the game. Also new this year, the PHS cheer committee will be selling cheer and dance uniforms, cheer shorts, pom poms and spirit marks for an additional cost during Mini Cheer Camp.
