NES School Supply List Given

The Nevada Elementary School has released its school supply list for the 200-2001 school year.

Kindergarten: one medium size Elmer's glue; one backpack; one kindermat (red and blue from Wal-Mart); and $9 for miscellaneous supplies.

First grade: one plastic supply box (no larger than 9x6); eight white glue sticks; 24 #2 American wood pencils; one package colored map pencils; 24-count crayons; one pair Fiskar scissors; six pocket/prong folders; one backpack; one box gallon size Zip-Loc bags; one package paper plates (girls only); one package colored Solo 9-oz. size cups (boys only); one package napkins; one box Kleenex; $5 for paper and one plastic magazine box (found in the office/school supply for $2).

Second grade: one box Kleenex; six glue sticks; 24-count American wood pencils; one pair Fiskar scissors; 48-count box crayons; six three-prong folders; two boxes pencil top erasers; Crayola map pencils; one backpack; plastic supply box (no larger than 9x6); one large package napkins (girls only); one 100-count package paper plates (boys only); and $5 for paper.

Third grade: #2 pencils as needed; loose-leaf, wide-ruled paper; two spiral notebooks; 10 folders with fasteners and pockets (do not put paper in them); one pair scissors; one 24-count box of crayons; two large boxes Kleenex; four glue sticks; one small plastic school box; $7 for notebook (and supplies); and binder.

Fourth grade: #2 pencils; washable markers; crayons; scissors; glue; map pencils; loose-leaf notebook paper; seven folders with pockets and binders; one pencil box; one desk dictionary ; $4 for portfolio and miscellaneous supplies; and Kleenex.

Fifth and sixth grades: #2 pencils; loose-leaf notebook paper; eight folders with pockets and binders; map pencils; two boxes Kleenex; washable markers or crayons, scissors; two erasable pens; glue; and $4 for portfolio binder and miscellaneous.
