McRae Open House Is August 15

McRae Middle School will have an open house August 15 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Orientation and sign-in will be in the cafeteria at 5:30. Parents and students will go to their first period rooms and pick up their packets.

The students supply list for the 2000-2001 is as follows:

Fifth grade: Trapper Keeper or binder with dividers; zippered pouch, 32 pencils as needed; five folders with brads and pockets, notebook paper as needed; Elmer's glue or glue stick; two boxes of Kleenex for home room; 24-ct. box of crayons; hand pencil sharpener; scissors; and map pencils.

Sixth grade: zippered pencil pouch; loose-leaf paper; map pencils; scissors; Elmer's school glue; #2 pencils; two large boxes of Kleenex; 10 manila folders; two red grading pencils; 11 folders with pockets and prongs (one red, one blue, nine assorted); and other supplies may be requested after school begins.

Seventh grade: two packages of dividers; six folders with pockets; two three ring binders; four manila folders; set map pencils; red ink pen; blue or black pen; notebook paper, pencils; $8.50 for Junior Scholatics; and one box of Kleenex.

Eighth grade: three-ring binder; set of dividers; four pocket folders; six manila folders; set map pencils; #2 pencils; notebook paper; three pocket folders (history); two boxes of Kleenex; three ink pens (blue or black); and additional supplies to be announced in class.

Fifth and sixth grade students will be given a list of art supplies after school starts.

Seventh and eighth grade Art I students will need two black felt tip pens (fine point) and $7.
