Bodcaw NewsBY ALINE CLAUSPublished Wednesday, August 2, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune A few around here have gotten rain. We have missed it all so far. But we did enjoy a few days of cooler weather. Fredrica Silvey Johus of Germany was visiting in this area Friday. We met her cousin, Donna Wingfield, of Prescott for lunch. We made several visits. We visited Marilyn and Russ Carlton. They wanted to sing and play the piano together. She was also visiting the Silveys of Texarkana. She then went to Calico Rock to spend some time. Phyllis Butler is spending a few days' vacation here visiting family. Jack and Louise Grisham from Benton stopped for a short visit on Saturday. Marie Tye is not feeling very well. Remember her. Hayden Poindexter was in Sunday school with his Papa Jewel. Our youth gave a report on encampment. They had a great time. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
