Whitfield, Harp To Wed September 9

Dr. and Mrs. Daniel S. Rowe of Hot Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Gary L. Whitfield of Bismarck announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandyce Nicole Whitfield, to Richard Stephen Harp.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sally Whitfield and the late Pete Whitfield of Bismarck and the late Q.K. Glover and Vera Glover of Gurdon.

She is a graduate of Gurdon High School and the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority.

She is a trainer in the customer relations department at Alltel Communications, Inc.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Harp of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Harp of Bauxite and the late Mr. and Mrs. Benard H. Hinkle of Batesville.

He is a graduate of Little Rock Central High School, the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and he holds a master of business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and graduate with honors from the UA and UALR.

He is currently employed as a product/pricing analyst for competitive local telephone service at Alltel Communications, Inc.

Family and friends are invited to attend the 7:00 p.m. wedding ceremony on September 9 at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Women's City Club in Little Rock.
