Annual homecoming will be held August 6 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guest will be Evergreen Baptist Church of Nash, Texas. Rev. A.T. Jordon, pastor and speaker. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Annual coming-home pack a pew, family and friends day, will be held August 6 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Clair Baptist Church in Burtsell. Rev. L.B. Beard, pastor. Everyone is welcome. Special guests will be Mt. Canaan Baptist Church of Gurdon, Rev. Johnny Harris, pastor and speaker, and Green Hill Baptist Church of Marshall, Texas, and Rev. E.J. Henderson, pastor.

Morning worship services will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6, at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Revival services will be held August 2-4 at 7:00 nightly at Macedonia Baptist Church of Boughton. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Evangelist for three days will be Rev. Bullard of Sparkman. Rev. Lonnie Hughes, pastor.

Annual choir day is Sunday, August 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church in Prescott. Special guest will be New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Everyone is welcome. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor and speaker.

Senior citizen day will be Sunday, August 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ of Prescott. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Virginia Livingston is in charge. Elder Leroy Sworn, pastor.

Mrs. Bobbie Jewel Franklin of Rockford, Ill., is here visiting her mother, Hodge Welch, sister, Lois Williams, and daughter, relatives in Gurdon, Okolona, Antione, Prescott, Arkadelphia and other relatives and friends of surrounding areas.

Ms. Ella Burton of Chicago, Ill., is here visiting her son, Little Winfred Burton, and grandchildren, her brother, Winfred, and Margret Burton, her sister, Jerine Hatley, other relatives and friends in Gurdon, also her special friend, Lee Hendrix, other relatives in Prescott, Benton, Little Rock, Hot Springs, Camden and other surrounding areas.

Relatives who attended the Welch family reunion, continued from last week's report: Mary Andrews, Yvonne Lowe and family, Audrey Gray and Pansey, all of Hot Springs; Judelia Dickens of Okolona; Percy Jackson and grandson of Chidester; Rev. and Mrs. Spencer Hughes and daughters, his pastor and his wife and two other friends of El Dorado; Ruby Allen of Curtis; Herman and Eula Quarles, Bessie Rogers, Jerone Rogers, Joyce Brown and son, Annie May Thompson and son, Jousha Thompson, Melvin and May Hatley children, Brad Hatley and daughters, Rita Thompson, Jalesia Young, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick and family, Lee Hendrix and family, Vivian and Cameron Rhinehart of Benton; Alfonzo Ross, Bernard Hatley, Marsha Hatley and sons, Rev. Ms. Ellen Marie Wiley of Texas is here visiting her sister, Monteen, and Gilbert Davis, other relatives and friends in Gurdon, her sister Ola Mae Bailey of Okolona and surrounding areas, her sister Veodis Cook of Malvern.

Gilbert Davis is in the hospital in Little Rock at this report. Larry Smith is in the hospital in Hot Springs. Your prayers and visits are a point of love.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Hawthorne of San Francisco, Calif., are here visiting his sisters, evangelist Bertha L. Holliman and family, Herman and Eula F. Quarles and son, David Quarles, other relatives and friends in Gurdon, Ruby L. Allen and family of Curtis and El Dorado.

Sunday school nurturing Baptist churches and usher board congress will convene with Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Malvern August 7. Pre-musical will be at 7:00 p.m. Classes will convene at 8:00 each morning. Rev. Frank Newburn, host pastor. Rev. J.N. McCollum, president, Dr. C.K. Yarber, moderator, and Sis. Delores Hodge, president of W.M.U.
