Can't call it a rainnot even a showerbut a few drops did fall.

Last Saturday Cherrie Wilson picked up Katy at Brookhills Christian Camp in Hot Springs, then they went on to Little Rock to shop at Old Navy and went out to eat.

Paul, Kim, Trent and Katy Cox attended the Arkansas Travelers baseball game in Little Rock on Saturday night.

Betty, Roy and Nuggy Cagle spent last weekend in Dallas visiting his mother, Beulah Cagle, and his sister, Louise Cagle.

Friday Cherrie and Katy went to Rosston to visit their husband and daddy, Danny, at the house he is building. They also visited Papaw Jarvis.

Billie Gass has returned to her home in Chickasha, Okla., after visiting her mother, Allene Taylor.

It is a pleasure for friends and neighbors to wish Willie McClain a happy 94th birthday. She now resides at Hillcrest Care and Rehab. Her daughters, Billie Ridling and Frances Swift, honored her by putting her birthday offering in the birthday bank on Sunday at Shady Grove.

Samantha Gordon and Katy Wilson spent Saturday at Magic Springs, then Samantha spent the night with Katy and they both attended church at Shady Grove on Sunday.

It is so good to report Doug and Peggy Burley of Kinwood, Texas, are both doing so much better. They are so happy to be home after a month's stay in the hospital.

Cherrie and Katy Wilson spent Tuesday at DeGray with a group of friends picnicking and swimming.

John, Gina, Ryan and Erica Burdue and LaNell Nash have returned from a sightseeing vacation. They visited Eureka Springs, Branson, Silver Dollar City, saw the Passion Play and attended a gospel concert on Sunday night.

We extend our sympathy to the Alice Lawrence family. Alice was a long time resident of Nevada County.
