Banquet Honors Emmet StudentsPublished Wednesday, May 26, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe awards banquet for grades 7-12 was held Tuesday, May 11, in the Emmet School cafetorium. The speaker for the evening was State Sen. Mike Ross, who challenged the students to do their best and not give up. Academic awards were presented by Frank Henson, principal, to Linda Stephens, Devan McClellan, Kathleen Brown, Tambra Tipton, John Parmer, Sherrie Garrison, Katie Davidson, Brittany Daniels, Jessica Curry, Bonnie White, Natoiya Reed, Tabitha Reed, Don Paul Mitchell, Lisa Hawthorne, Rachel Elliott, Holly Otwell, Kristol Barham, Jeana Gutierrez, Kimm Westbrook, Marcus Smith, Rodg Valdez, Holly McKinnon, Mark Reed, Kayla Schmitt, Amber Dougan, Susan Tipton, Iria Poncela, Rose Martin, Haley Muldrow, Amber Gulley, April Smithers, Natasha Smith, Nicole McCoy and Heather Blount.
