PES School List Given For Year

The Prescott Elementary School supply list for the 2000-2001 school year has been released.

Students in all grades will need more pencils, paper and some of the other supplies as the year progresses. Parents should label everything with your child's name and room code.

Kindergarten: one plastic rest mat (no thick mats); four boxes of Crayola brand crayons (16 count); 12 #2 pencils; four bottles of glue (8-oz); two pairs of Fiskar scissors; one box of Kleenex tissues; one roll of paper towels; one complete change of clothing, including underwear labeled in a Zip-lock bag; one backpack; two first grade writing tablets (these can be purchased in the school office.); one jumbo eraser; one package of tip erasers; one bottle of liquid soap (no bars); one plastic school box (cigar box size); one package of cups; one long stamped, self-addressed envelope and $5 for Weekly Reader.

First grade: first grade spelling tablet (to be bought in the school office only); one bottle of school glue; two boxes of crayons (16-count); one pair of blunt scissors; two pencils; one large box of Kleenex tissues; one set of watercolor paints; four folders with pockets and brads (do not put names on these); one school box; and one long stamped self-addressed envelope.

Second grade: one box 16-count crayons; one 4-oz. bottle Elmer's glue; one pair pointed scissors; two second grade manuscript tablets (can be purchased in the school office); two pocket folders with brads; two large boxes of Kleenex tissues (200 count); one roll paper towels; one school box; one package of #2 pencils; one long stamped, self-addressed envelope; one package of 200-count notebook paper and $4 for Weekly Reader. Do not bring a Trapper Keeper.

Third grade: two bottles of liquid soap (no bars); one box crayons (24-count); one bottle glue; one pair of scissors; one large box facial tissues; one roll paper towels; three second grade manuscript tablets; three pocket folders; three manila folders (do not put names on these); one ruler; #2 pencils needed throughout the year; notebook paper as needed; one five subject spiral notebook (no Trapper Keeper); one 5x8 manila self-addressed, stamped envelope and $3.50 for Student Planner.

Fourth grade: one box crayons (24-count); one bottle of school glue (4-oz.); one pair of scissors (labeled); two boxes of 200-count facial tissues; one ruler with centimeter and inch measurements; one school box (no large plastic boxes; two rolls paper towels; two bottles of liquid soap (no bars); one three-ring binder; #2 pencils as needed; looseleaf paper as needed; one long stamped, self-addressed envelope and $3.50 for Student Planner.
