There will be plenty of questions for the Prescott Curley Wolves to answer this football season, but one won't be who to play.

The Wolves did some last minute replacing in the head coach's slot as David Bennett left earlier in July to return home to Dierks. Kirk Armitage was hired from Ashdown on Sunday, July 30 to take the helm for Prescott.

The season will open Friday, Sept. 1, with the Wolves on the road to Mineral Springs where they will play the 7AA West Hornets.

Week two, Sept. 8, will have Prescott at home against Hope, while the Gurdon Go-Devils pay a visit to Cummins Field on Sept. 15.

Last year the Devils upset the Wolves at Gurdon on the strength of two defensive touchdowns.

From there Prescott is back on the road to open play in the 7AAA with Bismarck on Sept. 22.

It won't get any easier on Sept. 29, as the Wolves have to go to pumpkinland to tangle with Nashville, a team Prescott humbled 32-7 last season.

October dawns with DeQueen coming to town on Oct. 6. The Wolves went to Leopard country and pulled off a win last year, with DeQueen looking to return the favor this season.

Fountain Lake will be a road game for Prescott on Oct. 13,with the Wolves making their longest trip of the season on Oct. 20, when they travel to Mena.

However, the Wolves close out the season with two home games, starting with Fouke on Oct. 27, and ending the regular season hosting Ashdown on Nov. 2, in a Thursday game.

Ashdown has dropped down a notch from the 7AAAA Southwest, to the 7AAA, replacing Fordyce, as the Redbugs were moved to the 8AAA.
