Primary School Supply List Given

The Gurdon Primary School has released the list of supplies for each grade.

Kindergarten- one pair scissors (Fiskars), two boxes regular colors (8) (no jumbo, scented or glitter colors), two large bottles of Elmer's School Glue (no gel glue or off brands), four regular size pencils, one large back pack or school bag (easy to open, no animal shapes), one bottle liquid soap, two boxes of Kleenex, one large towel (no mats or sleeping bags), and one extra set of clothes (shirts, pants, underwear, and socks). Each item should be labedled with the child's name.

First Grade- $10 supply and Weekly Reader fee, two boxes of eight or 16 crayons, one pair of scissors (Fiskar), 10 #2 pencils (their name must be on each pencil), one plastic school box, two boxes Kleenex, and one book bag or satchel. Label each item with a permanent marker. Crayons and pencils will be required again at semester.

Please label each item with a permanent marker. These items are required the first day of school. Items two and four will be required again at semester. Glue will be purchased with supply money and given out by the teachers.

Second Grade- $10 paper fee, crayons, scissors (sharp), glue, 10 #2 pencils, school box, ruler, Kleenex (family size) and a school bag or backpack. Label all supplies with child's name in permanent marker.

Third grade- Dry erase markers, pencils, wide-ruled loose leaf paper with notebook for paper, crayons, Elmer's glue, scissors, small school box, two boxes of Kleenex, and a school bag or backpack. Label each item with your child's name in permanent marker.

Fourth grade- two spiral notebooks, loose leaf notebook paper, #2 pencils, glue sticks, scissors, washable markers, crayons, school supply box, two boxes of Kleenex, red pens, notebook and binder to hold loose leaf notebook paper, and $3.30 for Scholastic News in Mrs. Talley and Miss Gatlin's classes.
