Earl ManningRUGGLES-WILCOX FUNERAL HOME of ARKADELPHIAPublished Wednesday, July 26, 2000 in the Gurdon Times Earl Manning, 79, of Richwoods died Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. Mr. Manning was born June 22, 1921, the son of Walter Grey and Stella Floyd Manning. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII, retired from International Paper Company and a member of Richwoods Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Eutha Rogers Manning; three sons, Bobby Manning of Arkadelphia, Jerry Manning of Mobil, Ala., and Mike Manning of Malvern; one daughter, Betty Hollingshead of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Herschel and Connie Manning both of Richwoods; one sister, Sue Jester of Bradley; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, July 24, in the Richwoods Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Turner officiating. Burial was in Richwoods Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to the Richwoods Baptist Church or the Richwoods Cemetery.
