Spanish Class Is OfferedPublished Wednesday, July 26, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneA conversational Spanish class will be begin in August for adults interested in learning to communicate in the foreign language. It will be conducted by Jane Purtle. The class will be on Thursday nights from 7:00 to 9:50 p.m. starting August 24 and ending December 7 with 14 sessions in all. The class will be held at Prescott High School in room 103. If there are least 10 interested people credit for this class will be given through UACCH. The cost is $135 and is due at the first class. The text book, Spanish is Fun, Book 1 by Amsco, will be available for purchase at the first class or is available anytime at the UACCH bookstore. Cassette tapes will also be available that are coordinated with the textbook. Call Mrs. Purtle at 887-5662 if you are interested in this class or if you would like more information.
