Bodcaw NewsBY ALINE CLAUSPublished Wednesday, July 26, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune I am enjoying the cooler weather. Hope you are, too, and maybe even enjoying a shower. We missed the shower, but it got real close. I guess I better wish Chasity Dorman, Marilyn Carlton and myself a happy birthday. Sunday was the day of homecoming. Two good messages by Bro. Bobby Wright and Bro. David Hampton were enjoyed. There were lots of good food and singing in the afternoon. Our youth, along with other churches, had a trip to Gary, Texas. They reported a good time. Bro. Tom and June Stevens were unable to attend homecoming. He and Andrew Poindexter seemed to have picked up a virus at the encampment. Hope they will soon be better.
