RUGLES-WILCOX FUNERAL HOME of ARKADELPHIA

Opal L. Berry, 95, formerly of Little Rock, died Monday, July 17, 2000, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab in Arkadelphia.

Mrs. Berry was born April 1, 1905, in Donaldson, the daughter of Ira Butler and Leslie Shipp Fuller. She was a retired supervisor for 44 years with Southwestern Bell and attended the Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her natural parents, her second mother, whom raised her, Ruby Freeman Fuller and her husband, Bert Berry.

Survivors include one brother, George Hiram Fuller of Raleigh, N.C.; three sisters, Louise Thompson and Addye Lou Jacobs both of Gurdon and Thelma Samons of Malvern; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are today, Wednesday, July 19, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Elder Neil Phelan Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Ouachita Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Pallbearers were her nephews.

Visitation was Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
