Care Center Earns High Inspection

Published Wednesday, July 19, 2000 in the Gurdon Times

For the first time in more than 10 years Hospitality Care Center of Arkadelphia recently received an A-rated inspection.

The annual facility inspection by the office of Long Term Care resulted in an excellent rating, according to Keith Head, administrator.

The 114-bed facility, including staff nursing home and residential care, underwent new management in March 1999.

"Hats off to Hospitality Care staff and administration for a job well done," Karen Harper, an RN and director of nursing at the center, said. "Hard work and team work paid off."

Employees were rewarded with a catered barbecue dinner after the inspection results were announced.

Among those at the dinner were Harper, Glenda Cranfill, Diane Bredesen, Ruth Knox, Cheri Dooley, Peggy Evans, Debra Carter, Marie Jones, Carolyn Thomas, Amie Perry, Treva Gipson, and Head.
