Public Meeting Set On ParksPublished Wednesday, July 19, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneA public meeting will be held Tuesday, July 25, to discuss recreational needs for the City of Prescott. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the Nevada County Courthouse. During this meeting, a discussion on where the money for these projects will be held. However, it must first be decided which projects are the most important. Those interested in the Prescott parks and recreational programs are encouraged to attend and provide input. In addition, minorities, those with disabilities, the elderly, and any others interested are asked to come to the meeting and provide input as to their recreational needs. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
