Mildred Carlee Elmore Cranford, 79, of Malvern passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at her residence.

Mrs. Cranford was born May 23, 1921, at Prescott to the late James Monroe and Ada Hoover Elmore. She was a homemaker and a member of Cooper Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters and one great grandchild, Hanna Carlee Cloud.

Survivors include her husband, Artis Cranford of Malvern; three sons and their wives, Clifford and Barbara Cranford of Benton, V.J. and Christine Cranford of Malvern, and Jessie Ray and Nina Cranford of Malvern; one daughter and her husband, Mary and Charles Reeves of Malvern; one sister, Alta O'Rouke of Prescott; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, July 7, at Cooper Assembly of God Church with Rev. Curtis Davis officiating. Burial was in Cooper Cemetery under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern.

Pallbearers were James Cranford, Monroe Cranford, Shane Cranford, Chris Cranford, Chuck Reeves, Charlie Cranford, Kenny Cranford, Benji Cranford, Shaun Cloud and Gary Garner. Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters: Tammy Cloud, Magan Reeves, Kathy Reeves, Brenda Garner, Angela Cranford and Freda Cranford.

Memorials may be made to Cooper Assembly of God Church or to the Hospice Association or tothe Diabetes Association.
