Billie Ridling has returned from a trip to North Dakota and points in between. After returning she and Ronnie and Terri and Megan Vandiver attended Al and Peggy Butrick's 50th wedding anniversary in Mississippi.

LaNell Nash and John and Gina Burdue hosted a family get-together on the 4th of July. They all enjoyed barbecue, homemade ice cream and beautiful fireworks. Those attending were LaNell's two daughters and families from Murfreesboro, her granddaughter and family from Dierks, John's aunts and their families from Shreveport, La., and Dekalb, Texas, and Gina's parents, Harvey and Faye Taylor.

Katy Wilson spent Saturday night with her friends, Lacey and Mandy. They attended a movie in Texarkana on Saturday night and attended Unity Baptist Church on Sunday.

Betty Wilson from Hot Springs and Chris and Ginger Meeks from Dallas, Texas, came by to say hello on Saturday. They were moving their son and brother, Casey, to Jackson, Miss.

Cherrie and Katy Wilson attended Lacy's 16th birthday party at her home on Tuesday. About 50 guests enjoyed grilled hot dogs and cake.

George and Joy Cox visited their grandson and his wife in Little Rock Saturday.

Shane and Amanda Meador from Murfreesboro spent Sunday with his parents, Sid and Sandy Meador.

Cherrie Wilson and Kim Gordon took their daughters, Katy and Samantha, on a shopping spree in Texarkana on Saturday.

Jim and Leona Ballard had all their kids, husbands, wives and grandkids visiting on the 4th of July weekend.

Chris Meeks from Dallas, Texas, and a friend, Matt, visited Neil and me on Monday.
