Valgene HairPublished Wednesday, May 26, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneValgene Hair, 76, of Prescott died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, in Prescott. Mr. Hair was born August 17, 1922, in Waldo to Porter and Willie Love Hair. He was a carpenter, member of Southside Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Mae Anderson and Jewel Dean Fortson. Survivors include his wife, Anetia Hair of Hope; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles William and Martha Hair of Hope; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Donnie Dillard of Rosston; one brother, George William Hair of Hope; one sister, Alene Esch of Alpine, Texas; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Friday, May 21; in the Herndon Chapel in Hope with Rev. Charles Jones and Rev. DeWayne Parrish officiating.
