There were fewer past due accounts for July's cycle 1 than there were in June for the Prescott Power and Light Department.

However, though there were less delinquent accounts, more money was owed.

July's figures show 50 past due accounts for the first cycle of the month. In June, this number was 78. The May numbers were 52, while April reported 67.

But, the amount owed in July is $34,845.80, whereas June's figures were $27,531.15. This is a difference of $7,314.15 more being owed in July.

Eight accounts in July's first cycle were 60 days late, while there were 12 90 or more days past due.

A total of 16 accounts were paid off by the time cycle 1 in July rolled around. All owed on these accounts is the penalty for late payment. Together, these accounts paid$11,167.79, with two owing more than $4,500.

The largest past due account on the July list is a commercial one with a balance due of $5,775.08. This account is 90 or more days past due.

In June, the amount owed on this bill was $5,675.17.

For some reason the lowest bill due is 60 days late with $38.41 owed.

All but one of the accounts owing $1,000 or more are commercial. The residential account owes $1,719.35 for July. In June, the balance on this account was $1,568.77.

According to the data provided by the city, one residential account was pulled. The balance owed was $538.56, down from the $914.85 owed in June.
