A musical program will be presented Saturday night, July 15, at 7:00 at Bethel Independent Church of Gurdon. Everyone is welcome. Bro. Leodis Lyons is the sponsor, as well as Sis. Bonnie Dixon. Rev. Daniel Flemons is pastor.

Annual homecoming to be held Sunday, July 16, at 2:30 p.m. at Providence A.M.E. Church in the Kansas community. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guest will be Mt. Canaan Baptist Church of Gurdon. Rev. Johnny C. Harris, pastor and speaker. Rev. Flostene Quarles is pastor.

Early morning worship services at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon will be Sunday, July 16, at 8:00 a.m. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

Annual homecoming and 109th church anniversary and homecoming at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Beirne will be held Sunday, July 23. Rev. Vernon Moody, assistant pastor of Gennesaret Baptist Church in Arkadelphia will bring the morning message at 11:00.

Lunch will be from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m., after which the evening service will begin with Sis. Maude Echols, worship leader. Special guests will be Munn's Chapel Baptist Church of Prescott. Rev. Arthur Hill, pastor and speaker. Everyone and all churches are welcome.

Revival services will be held at Fudge Chapel Baptist Church in Crossett July 17-21 at 7:00 nightly. Rev. Jessie Radford, senior pastor. Evangelist for the week will be Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon.

Revival services are in progress this week at the Mt. Ephesus Baptist Church in Prescott. Everyone is welcome. Services are at 7:00 nightly. Evangelist for the week is Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, pastor of Pleasant Grove and Harrison Chapel Baptist Churches of Antoine and Delight. Rev. Fred Walters, pastor.

Section One meeting and Fifth Sunday singing union will convene with the Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Arkadelphia July 28-30. Everyone is welcome. Rev. C.W. Harris, president of Section One. Sis. Ethel Harris, president of W.M.U., Bro. Laurence Guinn, president of singing union, and Dr. C.K. Yarber, moderator.

Revival services will be held July 17-21 at Eastern Star Baptist Church in the Smithton community at 7:00 nightly. Everyone is welcome. Evangelist for the week will be Rev. Frank Porchia of Fordyce. Rev. Marshall Allen, pastor.

Southwest District public speaking will convene at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Arkadelphia July 13 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Southwest District annual youth day is July 14 at First Baptist Church in Rockport. Dr. J.N. McCollum is the pastor.

The Welch family reunion will be held Friday, July 21, 6:00-7:00 p.m. Social hour will begin at 7:00 p.m. with worship services at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. Saturday, July 22, there will be a picnic at Gurdon City Park. Everyone and all family members welcome.

On July 3 the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of Willie and Flora Pennington Blake visited relatives, Earl and Sharon Blake, Beatrice Newson of Arkadelphia, and other relatives in surrounding areas. They celebrated at DeGray Lake. Family members came from as far away as Tucson and Ft. Huachuca, Ariz., and Dallas, Texas. A fireworks show was held on the Fourth of July holiday on the family estate in Curtis.

Please join Aretha Walker and Alex Rogers as they exchange marriage vows Saturday, July 15, at 6:00 p.m. at Rising Star Baptist Church of Hope. Rev. Jessie Radford, pastor.
