Rosston extends sympathy to the family of Pete Morman. He passed away in a Texarkana hospital on Saturday night. Funeral was a graveside service Monday morning at 10 a.m. in Rosston Cemetery.

Church was well attended Sunday with several visitors present. Among them were Bro. and Mrs. Hershel Wortman of Houston, Minor and Tommie Lou Bailey of Dallas and Amy Dixon, daughter of Mike and Royce Dixon.

Chasity Reeves, daughter of Jerry and Cynthia Reeves, was presented a beautiful Bible by the Church. Other graduates from Rosston were Jace Jarvis, Lori O'Keefe and Jessica Carey. Chasity graduated with honors and so did Lori and Jessica. The youth gave a party for Chasity after services on Sunday night.

Roscoe and I and Billy and Minnie Ella Schmitt of Hope, Clifford and Jane Cox of Hope and Virginia Dillard were treated to a free meal at Crossroad Buffet on Tuesday night. There were about 35 other couples and after the meal we enjoyed a demonstration of smoke alarms. This was very informative.

Bill and Maxine Freeman had lunch with Roscoe and me Sunday. In the afternoon we attended the day care graduation of great granddaughter, Kathryne Rocole, along with 13 others. They looked so grown up in their red caps and gowns. Booie Williams and Norma Rocole of Prescott, Kathryne's grandmothers, and Aunt Tonda Pennington of Willisville also attended. On our way home we visited Jim and Tonda Pennington in Willisville.

Tommie Lew Jarvis's sister, Daisy Methvin, of Pine Bluff was her guest this weekend.

Maxine Luck went to see four doctors last week. She still needs our prayers.

Van O'Keefe was a guest of his mother, Valeria O'Keefe, this weekend. They shopped in Texarkana and Van carried her out to eat for Mother's Day on Saturday as he couldn't be here for the holiday.

Our guests on Wednesday were Ginger and Tyler McKinnon of Texarkana and a little friend of Tyler's, Luke Cason.
