Southern Brothers To Perform In Hope

Southern Brothers will perform in Hope Sunday, July 2, at 6 p.m. at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church, temporarily meeting in the Klipsch Auditorium located at Avenue B and North Elm Streets.

This popular trio song Jesus' which climbed to number nine in popularity on the gospel radio music charts. This song was written by Southern Brothers' very own Scott Mills.

They have had the privilege of being house' gospel group for Silver Dollar City theme park in Branson, Mo. Although Southern Brothers schedule keeps them on the road full time now, they still return to do certain music festivals held at the theme park.

The 1999 national quartet convention in Louisville, Ky. nominated the trio for Horizon group of the year.

They have appeared with such artists as Sandy Patty, Michael W. Smith, Sandra Payne and Larnelle Harris, just to name a few.

The Southern Brothers had the honor of performing on the Daywind Show case at the Christian Book Sellers Association and also at The Gospel Music Association in Nashville, Tenn., at Opryland Hotel.

The doors will open at 5:15 p.m. and the concert will begin promptly at 6 p.m. this coming Sunday.
