McLelland, Sands To Wed Sept. 16Published Wednesday, June 28, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneJohn and Karen McLelland and Brenda and Jimmy Williams announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather, to John Sands, the son of Donald and Sandy Sands of Waldo. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Nina Price of Prescott. She is a 1997 graduate of Prescott High School. She is attending the Professional Cosmetology Education Center and working as a stylist at Studio 2204 in Magnolia. The prospective groom is the grandson of Alice Waters of Texarkana. He is a 1994 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 1999 graduate of Southern Arkansas University with an agriculture business degree. He is the owner of Soundwaves in El Dorado. The wedding will be held September 16 at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church in Prescott. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
