A representative of the Texarkana Social Security office will be in Prescott at the courthouse July 27, August 24 and September 28. Supplemental Security Income pays monthly checks to people who are aged, disabled or blind and who do not own much or have much income. SSI is not just for adults. Monthly checks can be paid to disabled and blind children. To find out if you are eligible call 1-800-772-1213. S.C.A.N., (suspected child abuse and neglect) needs volunteers. Tracy and Marsha Bennett of Prescott are proud to announce the birth of their son, Blayke Gannon, on Friday, June 9, 2000, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock. He weighed three pounds and four ounces and was 15> inches long. Because of the holiday on July 4, the City Council of Bluff City will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, July 10, instead of the usual first Monday of the month. David and Jena Martin of Carrolton, Texas, announce the birth of their son, Connor Bradley, born Thursday, June 8, 2000. Connor weighed nine pounds one ounce and was 22 inches long. Grandparents are Jerry and Janet Milam of Prescott and Mickey and Carol Martin of Fort Smith. William and Valerie Sullins of Prescott are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Emily Katherine Pearl, born Friday, June 23, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She weighed eight pounds six ounces and was 18= inches long. Grandparents are Dale and Kathy Sullins of Delight and Ronald and Sherry Leavitt of Prescott. Jeff and Miki Morrow and big brother, Grayson, of Benton proudly announce the arrival of twins. They were born Friday, June 2, 2000, at St. Vincent Doctors Hospital in Little Rock. Kati Ligon weighed 4 pounds 9 ounces and Colen William weighed 4 pounds 6 ounces. Both were 18 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Jim and Betty McKenzie of Prescott.
