BeverlyPublished Wednesday, May 26, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneSunday, May 9, was celebrated by a Mother's Day tea, honoring our precious mothers. Our oldest mother is Willie Loudermilk at 107 years. The youngest is Sherry Glover. The mothers with the most children are Effie Gillard and Minnie Richardson with eight children each. Among our staff the oldest mother is Virginia Barton and the youngest mother is Martha Gilleylen. Several of our residents were honored with the presence of their families and friend. Entertainment was provided by Regina Moreland and Tyrone Powers. The afternoon was enjoyed by all. Everything has been buzzing at Beverly Health Care this week. We started last week off celebrating National Nurses Week. Our hats are off to you. You do a great job. There were games, contests with lots of prizes and everyone having a good time. We ended the week with a big cookout, giving flowers and t-shirts to all nurses. A special thanks was given to Jannie Craven for 29 years of faithful service. Recognition was given to the employees who had children graduating from high school. Yolanda McClenton's son, Mario, graduated from Blevins; Stella Lacey's daughter, Tijuana, graduated from Gurdon; Ola Mae Sandifer's niece, Nicole Jackson, graduated from Prescott; Herb Adam's son, Gabriel, graduated from Prescott; and Louise Johnson's son, Jason, graduated valedictorian at Blevins High School.
