Town Meeting Planned By UA StudentsPublished Wednesday, June 28, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneA town meeting will be held Thursday, June 29, in the Nevada County Courthouse at 7 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to focus on the proposals made by the University of Arkansas Community Design Center students for downtown Prescott. These proposals include streetscaping, renovations and the downtown pocket parks. This will be the second such meeting by the students. The first presentation focused on renovation and restoration of the downtown storefronts. Thursday's meeting will be devoted to promoting the long-term planning and development strategies.
