Dear JohnLETTER TO OUR EDITORPublished Wednesday, June 28, 2000 in the Gurdon Times Dear Editor, This is regarding the sports banquet article. I appreciate that The Gurdon Times actually covered the sports banquet. However, you could have mentioned the Lady Devils. By that I mean the basketball team, the cheerleaders and the new softball team. You could have also mentioned the golf, track and tennis players. There are some of us, if you can believe that, that are interested in more than just football and baseball. Don't get me wrong; I love learning about all the accomplishments that my fellow Go-Devils have achieved. I would just like to see more coverage of the whole sports department.
