Gurdon Times Deadline Moved For July 4th HolidayPublished Wednesday, June 28, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesThe Gurdon Times will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. With the closing all deadlines have been moved up to noon, Friday, June 30. This includes the news from the correspondents. Because of the holiday, the newspapers will have to be printed early Monday morning, July 3. All papers will be on news stands Monday morning. The Times will reopen for business Wednesday, July 5, at 8 a.m. While city offices will be closed for the holiday, garbage pickup will run its usual route inside the city limits.
