Bill Ed and Glenda Dixon came in from Orange, Texas, Thursday. They parked their vehicle in the city park in Hope. Janice, Phyl, Amy, Denise and Emily, Brandon Smith, J.W., Maxine and Lucy Glass, Mary Fern Overton, Sheryl Hughes, Marthada Cockrill, Ethel Ellis and I went over to visit them Friday evening and make some good old homemade ice cream. Cyril and Brandon came on down after they got off work. Saturday more cousins came in form Texas and other states. 67 relatives spent an enjoyable day at the Senior Citizens Center in Hope. Our cookbooks were a big hit and our pictures we all put together of relatives in years gone by and our by gone family reunions. The Caney Cemetery Association will have its annual general meeting Monday evening at 7:00 at Morris Church. Anyone with an interest should attend. Annual homecoming will be at Morris Baptist Church Sunday. Services will convene at 10:30 a.m. Frank Glass will give the welcome address. Gerald Steed will deliver the devotional and Bro. Tal Webb will gave the message. After lunch we will gather back for afternoon singing. The first homecoming at Morris was in 1939. Bro. N.M White, assisted by Maudina Bolls White, gave the welcome address. Revival will be in progress at Bluff Springs Church this week. Bro. Tal Webb's turn will be Wednesday evening at 7:30. Our church bus will go from the church if anyone wants to go; meet at the church at 6:55 p.m. There will be no prayer meeting Sunday morning, because of homecoming service. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Dennis Hicks left Dallas on a fishing trip to Alaska this week. Maxine Glass cooked J.W.'s favorite for Father's Day. Joining them for lunch were Jackie and Kathy Glass from Camden; Liz and Roger Nunn of Hope; and Shauntelle and Payton, Karen, Sarah and Jason Jobe, Deb, Steve and Cody Jackson; Pam, Kevin, Clancy and Hannah Cleveland; Pat, Kenny, Tim and Leah McCullough; Barb Cornelius; and Aaron Morton. Blake Gannon Bennett is still in the hospital. Tracy and Marcia went back to Little Rock to stay with the little one until Wednesday. Blake is taking nourishment from a bottle now. Friends of Marsha and Tracy are giving a shower for Blake June 27 at 7 p.m. at the church. Emogene Riddling, her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Lewis Davis of Bride City, Texas, came for the Bill Wicker reunion. They attended Morris Baptist Church Sunday morning. Sharon sang a solo during service. Don and Margaret Webb attended church at Morris Sunday morning. Bro. Tal Webb celebrated a birthday.
