Delores Thomas of New Braunfel, Texas, and Joy Shaver came last Monday for the funeral of Arleen West and had supper with us and Joel and Juanita Ridgell of Cumby, Texas, Elsie Elmore and Herbie Ridgell. Michael and Ben Ridgell of California are spending the summer with their dad, Paul Ridgell, and his wife, Robbin. Sammy and Kaye House, Lauren, and Jason spent Sunday with his dad and mother, Lenord and Faye. Wanda and Edgar White also visited Faye and Lenord during the week. Herbie Ridgell's children, Josh, Andrew, Loretta and Alex, spent Saturday night with him. Waldron Holder's family spent last week vacationing in Missouri. They came by J.D. and Mary Ann Lucas' Friday night and visited a while with them, Margie Lucas and Frank Wilson. Our son, Charles, and his wife, Marjorie of South Carolina are supposed to be here Saturday to spend a few days with us. All of Jim and Jody Jester's children, Lori and Bob Cummings, Amanda and Chance, Lance and Lisa Beaver and boys, and Tim and Stacy, had dinner with them Sunday. Annie Mae Hooks spent the weekend with her daughter, Diane Blankenship, of Ashdown. All of Diane's family, Paul and Angie Copeland, and their family, and Chad Blankenship and his wife, all had dinner with them Sunday. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
