College News - Lea ThorntonPublished Wednesday, June 21, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneLea Thornton, a 2000 graduate of Prescott High School, has been awarded a technical scholarship to the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. The scholarship is based on an ACT score and grade point average plus a recommendation from a school official. Thornton is the daughter of Robert and Shelia Thornton of Prescott.
