Chamber Plans CookoutPublished Wednesday, June 21, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesThe board of directors of the Gurdon Chamber of Commerce would like to invite all chamber members to a cookout Tuesday, June 27, at the city park. The cookout is to show appreciation to the businesses of Gurdon who support the chamber of commerce. The cookout is free and will begin at 5:30 p.m. The cookout is also to welcome new members of the chamber who are being asked to join through a membership drive. Members of the chamber are calling on businesses to invite them to be apart of Gurdon's largest business organization. All chamber members are invited to bring their families to the cookout. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
