T-Ball Players Needed Saturday

Published Wednesday, June 14, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune

The Prescott Parks and Recreation Department will offer T-ball to boys and girls four and five years old. The child must turn four on or before Aug. 1.

The games will be played on Saturday mornings with 9 a.m. as the starting time. Parents must have their child at the field by 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 17, so that t-shirts can be distributed to team members.

At all other games the child needs to be at the park ten minutes before game time.

Games will be played four innings or forty-five minutes. Teams will be divided equally and all players will play the entire game.

All registration forms must be returned to Oliver's One Stop by Friday, June 16, at 4:30 p.m. so that players may be assigned to teams.

The season will start Saturday, June 17, at 9 a.m. The games will last four weeks with the last game being Saturday, July 8. Rain outs will not be made up.

If you have any questions concerning T-ball, call Bobbie Brown at 887-3430.
