Junior Fishing Fest Set At DeGray Lake

DeGray Lake Resort State Park will be hosting its annual junior Fishing Fest Sunday, June 18. Children ages five years to 12 years will be competing for prizes in several categories.

Categories will include biggest fish, heaviest stringer and most fish caught.

The derby will begin at 1:00 p.m. at golf course pond #7, across from the horseback riding stables. Award presentation will be held at 4:00 p.m.

Kids must take their own bait and tackle.

Catfish for the derby will be supplied by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
