Golden OldiesDoris VancePublished Wednesday, May 26, 1999 in the Gurdon Times Several of the senior adults went to fun and fitness day in Hot Springs on May 21. We also had a popcorn walk. May 24 bingo was to be played and on May 25 the birthday party for May birthdays was to be held. Dr. Barbara Holt will be with us on May 26. The month of May has flown by on wings and the first of June will be here. We have had a busy month at the center filled with many activities. The Cover Girls are still working hard. We'll soon be through with the quilt we are working on now. We really appreciate the ladies who put their time on this project. The center will be closed on May 31. Will have more Golden Oldies news next week. The center is a program of Central Arkansas Development Council and is a United Way Agency.
