SHACKELFORD FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTT

Ivy Kirk, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed from this life Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Mr. Kirk was born November 4, 1919, in Bluff City. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific. He was retired from Potlatch.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marzelle Kirk; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Douglas Henderson of Hope and Judy and Jimmie Carlton of Prescott; three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Carrie and Randy Nivens of Prescott, Christie and David Cannon of Hope and Stephanie Carlton of Prescott; five great grandchildren, Robbie Haynie, Chas Haynie, Kori Cannon, Abbey Nivens and Kirk Carlton; one sister, Charlene Gamill of Rosston; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Services were Monday, May 22, in the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Caney Cemetery with Rev. Arlie Kyzer, Rev. Betty Stinson and Rev. Phil Hull officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
