Election 2000: How Clark County Voted

With the results in and being confirmed the Preferential Party Primary can be considered over.

For many the election is over, but for others it's just beginning as they turn their attention toward the November General Election.

The following is a precinct-by-precinct breakdown of how voters cast their ballots in Clark County. It will be shown in alphabetical order as printed from the AIS 115 electronic voting tabulator used by the Clark County Election Commission.

In Alpine Al Gore received 84 votes for President of the US, while Lyndon LaRouche garnered 36.

For U.S. Representative District 4, Mike Ross, 77, Judy Smith, 7, DeWayne Graham, 33, and Bruce Harris, 8.

For Supreme Court Associate Justice Position 5, Keith Watkins, 43, Judge Jim Hannah, 78.

For State Senate District 6, which includes part of Clark County, State Rep. Jim Lancaster, 17, Rep. Steve Faris, 108.

For Clark County Judge, Grady Runyan 64, Floyd "Buddy" Manning, 63.

In the Clark County Assessor's race it was Kasey Summerville, 33, Wanda Knight, 92.

For the Constable of Caddo Township race Gerald O'Connell got 86 votes, Frank Plasek, 7, James Davis, 9, and Benny Arnold, 24.
