Boughton NewsBY MRS. WILLIE HOOKSPublished Wednesday, May 31, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Boughton Church will have its annual first Sunday in June celebration Sunday the 4th. Preaching will be in the morning with potluck lunch at the noon hour. Singing will follow in the afternoon. You are invited. Elsie Elmore had dinner with Donald and Patricia Ingersoll. They went to Hillcrest Nursing Care Sunday afternoon for Boughton Church service. Everett Orren, Edgar White and Roy Gant Cagle visited Fate House in Powderly, Texas on Monday. Syble Brown and Judy Allen spent last week visiting Johnny Joe Brown and Lisa Shelton and other relatives inn Baytown, Texas. Criss and April Middleton are caring for Cathrine Hooks. Criss and April spent the weekend in McCory visiting with Cathryn. Hershel, Tommy and Danny Hooks visited their mother over the weekend. Mildred and J.D. Kelly and Theresa and Jewel Grifford visited Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas during the week. Robin and Elizabeth Ridgell and Alex visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Jones of Batesville over the weekend. Don't forget why we have Memorial Day.
