Since I didn't write last week I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day. Both our sons had to work, so we celebrated with them during the week.

After church on Sunday Roscoe and I met grandson Marty Williams, Raegan and baby Wren at the Fish Nest in Prescott and had lunch. They had been to church at Central with Raegan's parents. After lunch we visited with Raegan's grandparents, Raymond and Louise Huett of Prescott. He is very ill and needs our prayers.

Nadine Dillard Wortman of Houston, Texas, is vacationing in her home in Rosston.

Graduation was at Nevada on Thursday. Jeff Taylor was our only graduate from Rosston Church. We wish all the graduates the best of luck, including Kris Kenzel and Brittany Bailey.

The Van O'Keefes were guests of Valeria O'Keefe over the weekend.

Max West of Willisville recently had four bypasses in Little Rock. Pray that he will soon be home.

Betty Fairchild of Camden will have shoulder surgery in Little Rock this week. Her husband, Johnny Red' Fairchild, is a cousin of Roscoe's. Johnny visited with us a while Sunday afternoon. He had been to the homecoming at Bluff Springs.

Roscoe and I attended the candidates speaking at Cale City Hall on Saturday night. They had a bean, rice and cornbread supper with cake for dessert and also a gospel singing. Jeff and Tara Carlton from our church sang several songs.

Arthur Dale and Betty Manning of Prescott and Malcolm Wilson of Shreveport, La., were guests of the Dail Evans family one day last week.

A beautiful wedding shower was given by some ladies at the fellowship hall in Rosston on Sunday afternoon for Jennifer Bailey and Greg Brady. They received many lovely gifts and a good number of people were present. The wedding will be in June at Whites Chapel Church.

Amy Morman spent a couple days with her grandmother, Dougan in Cale, when she got out of school on Thursday.

Roscoe and I both have doctor appointments in Little Rock on Wednesday for check-ups. Pray that we both get good reports.

Wednesday night is Bible study at Rosston. Bro. Bob Gresham is in charge. If you can't come please pray for them.
