The weather has been great. I hope you all have been enjoying it.

Saturday evening about 40 friends and relatives all gathered at the home of Lewis and Irene Cornelius. We all enjoyed smoked hog and all the fixin's. There were folks there farm as far away as Texas and Oklahoma.

Sunday service at Missionary Grove was full with members, families and friends. Bro. Dexter Blevins from Norman, Okla., brought the message. The occasion was third Sunday homecoming. Dinner was enjoyed and so was singing that afternoon.

Julie Stockton was surprised to see her yard full of trees when she returned home after a bowling trip to Reno, Nev. Other than that, she missed the winds, being away. B.J. Hampton also was on that trip.

Aaron Morton spent Friday night with his Aunt Pat McCullough and family.

Tuesday the rain tried to put a damper on the sixth grade field trip to Camp Winnamocka at Arkadelphia. There were about 75 kids and sponsors who went. Aaron Morton and Adam McKinnon from our area was two who went. It is a funfilled adventure. Thanks to the sixth grade teachers for making this trip a success.

Congratulations to Aaron Hearnsburger. He graduated Friday night. Good luck, Aaron, and the same to the other graduates.

Decendents of Dyatt Harris had a reunion Saturday at the Prescott Housing Authority community room. About 20 people were there.

Evorie Loe and Kim and Katy Sheets went to Delight to a sixth grade graduation Monday morning. Jessie Loe has put in another year. Good luck next year, Jessie.

Ruby and Thomas Fontaine traveled to Camden to a graduation Friday night. Brittney Collins, granddaughter of Ruby's, graduated from Harmony Grove. John Cornelius and Seth Collins also attended.
