Nevada High School Presents Academic AwardsPublished Wednesday, May 24, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneNevada High School held its academic award ceremony Friday, May 12, at 9:30 a.m. Honor students (4.0-3.4 GPA) recognized are listed below by grades and then by specific recognition in certain fields. Seventh grade - Timmothy Bear, Antonio Henry, Doricko Henry, Regina Leaks, Channing Watts, David Williams, Brian Maroon, Sharissa Overton, Fredrica Quarles and Kimberly Powell. Eighth grade - Krystal Walker, Brandon Evans, Zach Niemeyer, Elijah Carlew, Coy Tucker, Katrina Burson, Jessica Potts, Natasha Jones, Kristi Taylor, Jeramie Harris, Stephen Chenault, Phillip Cooper and Dylan Lambert. Ninth grade - Jessica Almand, Rebecca White, Cristi Lambert and Eric Williams.
