Emmie WrightPublished Wednesday, June 2, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesEmmie Wright, 94, of Gurdon died Sunday, May 30, 1999, in Arkadelphia. Mrs. Wright was born May 30, 1905, in Naples, Texas. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wright was a member of Red Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, William H. Wright of Gurdon; one sister, Jane Hicks of Naples, Texas; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Services will be today, Wednesday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. in Gross Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs with Rev. Robert Hampton officiating. Burial will be Rush Fork Cemetery under the direction of Gross Funeral Home of Hot Springs. Pallbearers will be Billy Wright, Alan Wright, Lonnie Weatherford, Mike Ford, Richard Cooper and Artis Fendley.
