Rhodes, Hastings Wedding Is June 10

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert K. Rhoads Jr. of Kensett announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Allen Rhoads, to James Cody Hastings, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hastings of Rosston.

The wedding event will be June 10 at 3:00 in the afternoon in Hope at the Hope Church of Christ.

Samantha's grandparents are the late Joe and Betty Deal of Oswego, Ill., and the late Herbert and June Rhoads of Illinois and Arizona.

Cody is the grandson of Mrs. Ysleta Gatlin and the late J.R. Gatlin of Powderly, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Coye Hastings of Bagwell, Texas.

Samantha is a junior accounting major at Harding University in Searcy. She is a 1998 graduate of Beebe High School and holds an associate of arts degree from Arkansas State University at Beebe.

Cody is a senior marketing and finance major at Harding University. He is a graduate of Nevada High School at Rosston.

Friends are invited to attend the wedding at the Church of Christ, 1815 73 East. The nuptials will be followed by a reception in the fellowship hall of the church.
