I hope all you moms had a happy Mother's Day. We had a large number in church. Several came to be in church with their mother.

I had cards and calls from some of the kids. David, Peggy and Cody Butler from Blevins came on Saturday night. Earlene, Phyllis, Todd and I went to Crossroads for supper. They seemed to have a crowd. It is good food. Deck didn't feel like going. We brought him a plate back. Remember him.

Student support group had an awards, achievement and personal growth dinner in Hope. Russ Carlton got an award. He also played and sang during the dinner hour at Western Sizzlin. He enjoyed it. He is out of school for the summer. He says he was ready for a break.

Happy fifth birthday to Walker Flowers on the 15th. He starts to kindergarten this fall.

I heard a report on Wesley McKamie. He is finishing college and ready to start on his medical training. Way to go, Wesley.

Marie Tye spent a few days in El Dorado with Jeanette and Boy Spencer. She came home Sunday.

Mrs. Buck was in church with her daughter, Heather, and Daniel Clements.
