Charles Edward ErhartSHACKELFORD FUNERAL HOME of PRESCOTTPublished Wednesday, May 17, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Charles Edward Erhart, 84, of Prescott died Wednesday, May 10, 2000. Mr. Erhart was born June 1, 1915, in Richmond, Va. He was a painter and in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Erhart was a member of Park Baptist Church in Prescott and the American Legion of Prescott. He was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Burnette. Survivors include his wife, Betty Lee Steed Erhart of Prescott; two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sandy Erhart of Richmond, Va., and Charles Edward Erhart Jr.; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Donnie Dougan of Hot Springs; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Graveside services were held Saturday, May 13, at the DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott with Jerry Westmoreland officiating. Arrangements were made by Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
