4-H News - Oak Grove

The Oak Grove 4-H Club of Rosston met May 9 at the Oak Grove Day Care Center.

The purpose of the meeting was to complete new 4-H applications, order t-shirts and to plan project, community and fund-raising activities for the year.

The meeting was conducted by Shavon Gulley, vice president of the group. There were eleven 4-H members present for the meeting.

Members of the Oak Grove 4-H Club are Dakota Hopson, president; Shavon Gulley, vice president; Lasheka Gulley, secretary; Kyle Holleman, treasurer; and Brandon Evans, reporter. Other members are Desmond Bailey, Ashley Dixon, Miquel Hopson, Ashley Lowe, Brennon Allen, Dequana Smith and Brandon Scott.

The leaders of the club are Sherry Bailey, Emily Evans, Milton Lowe, Leo Holleman and Alvin Tidwell.

The next meeting will be June 13 at 6 p.m. at the Oak Grove Day Care Center. The club will be conducting a public speaking activity.

If anyone is interested in becoming a member be present at the next meeting.
