Prescott High Graduation Is Friday Night

Graduation exercises at Prescott High School will be held Friday, May 19, at the football stadium. In case of inclement weather the event will be moved to the gymnasium.

Ten students will be graduating with highest honors. Twelve more will receive honors.

The highest honor graduates in alphabetical order are Matt Brannan, Misty Brown, Andrea Cossey, Rita Fountain, Carlos Franklin, Traci Graham, Sarah Hicks, Sunshine Kelley, Jack Nelson and Kristen Teague.

Those graduating with honors are Rachael Dougan, Tyrone Lacy, Ana Maria Montoya, Crystal Moss, Russell Niemyer, David Parks, Nicole Spigner, Misty Stiguallde, Cameron Wiley, Laura Beth Williams, Donisha Williamson and Shelly Windham.

Brannan is the 18-year-old son of John and Debbie Brannan.

He was a member of Science Club, Spanish Club, Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Student Council president, Wolf Trail and gifted and talented.

He was selected as class favorite, class officer, outstanding senior, PHS ideal, most handsome and basketball homecoming escort within the senior class. He has been on the honor roll and a Kiwanis honor student for three years.

Brannan was selected to Who's Who Among American High School Students for three years, a junior usher and was a Boys State delegate. He has participated in basketball, golf, track and tennis.

Brown is the 18-year-old daughter of Gary and Teresa Brown.

She was a member of Science Club, Future Business Leaders of America and National Honor Society.

She was vice president of Art Club and Key Club, and she has been an honor roll student and a Kiwanis honor student for three years.

She was named Who's Who Among American High School Students and was a Girls State delegate. She was selected as DAR Good Citizen, Miss Clueless and to the basketball homecoming court her senior year.

Brown has participated in basketball, softball and track for four years.

Cossey is the 18-year-old daughter of Bill and Paula Cossey.

She has been a member of Art Club, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America and Wolf Trail for two years. She has been an honor roll student for three years.

She is the Key Club president and is a member of Student Council, Leo Club and Science Club.

She was selected as class favorite, PHS ideal, best all-around (senior class), office aide, Who's Who Among American High School Students, Kiwanis honor student, outstanding senior and junior usher.

As a junior, Cossey was selected homecoming maid and maid at large as a senior. She also was crowned basketball homecoming queen.

Cossey has participated in tennis, softball, track and basketball for three years.

Fountain is the 17-year-old daughter of Brad and Rose Fountain.

She was the president of the Art Club, treasurer of the Key Club and parliamentarian of the Future Business Leaders of America. She has been in Science Club, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl and gifted and talented.

She has been on the Wolf Trail staff for three years. She was copy editor her junior year and is currently editor. She was selected as office aide, Girls State delegate, junior usher, best dress (senior class), Who's Who Among American High School Students, Kiwanis honor student and she was named outstanding senior. She has been an honor roll student.

Fountain participated in softball for four years.

Franklin is the son of Jessie and Rosie Dixon.

He has been a member of Art Club, Science Club, Spanish Club, Student Council, Quiz Bowl, gifted and talented and an honor roll student for four years.

He has been involved in Future Business Leaders of America, Future Homemakers of America, Future Teachers of America, OBU Talent Search and National Honor Society.

Franklin was selected as senior class president, class favorite, Boys State delegate, office aide, Kiwanis honor student, Who's Who Among American High School Students, best dressed (senior class) and an outstanding senior.

Graham is the 17-year-old daughter of Jimmy and Linda Graham.

She has participated in Art Club, Key Club, Spanish Club, Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, Student Council and gifted and talented.

She was selected as senior class secretary, class favorite, Girls State delegate, junior usher, Who's Who Among American High School Students, honor roll, most athletic (senior class), Kiwanis honor student and outstanding senior.

Graham was crowned 2000 Miss Nevada County, 2000 Miss PHS and she was a talent show winner.

She has been involved in basketball, softball, tennis and track throughout her high school years. She is co-captain of the cheerleading squad and was named NCA All-American cheerleader.

Hicks is the 17-year-old daughter of Don and Linda Hicks.

She has been involved in Key Club, Science Club, Future Business Leaders of America and Spanish Club. She is the president of Future Farmers of America.

Hicks also participated in softball and the talent show one year. She was selected as an honor roll student, Who's Who Among American High School Students and Kiwanis Honor student.Kelley is the 17-year-old daughter of James and Donna Kelley.

She has participated in many organizations and activities such as Key Club, Science Club, Spanish Club, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America and Student Council throughout her high school years. She was an office aide her senior year.

She is on the Wolf Trail staff and is the business manager. She was selected as a Girls State delegate, unforgettable (senior class), outstanding senior, junior usher, sophomore homecoming maid, senior class reporter and Who's Who Among American High School Students. She is an honor roll student and Kiwanis Honor student.

Kelley was involved in basketball, softball and track for two years.

Nelson is the 18-year-old son of Perry Nelson and Cindy Blair.

He has participated in Science Club, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, gifted and talented, junior play and band.

Nelson was selected as an office aide, Boys State delegate, junior usher, teacher's pet (senior class), prom server, Who's Who Among High School Students and outstanding senior.

He is an honor roll student and Kiwanis honor student.

Teague is the 17-year-old daughter of Audie and Pam Teague.

She has been involved in Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl and gifted and talented.

She was selected as a Girls State delegate, class favorite, junior usher, teacher's pet (senior class), Who's Who Among American High School Students and outstanding senior.

Teague was crowned 1999 Miss Nevada County and 1999 Miss PHS. She was also football homecoming senior maid and basketball homecoming queen. She is an honor roll and Kiwanis Honor student.

She has played basketball, softball and track for four years. She has been a senior high cheerleader for two years.

Dougan is the 18-year-old daughter of Tim and Jan Dougan.

She has been on the honor roll for four years. She has been a Kiwanis honor student for two years and a member of National Honor Society for three years. She has been selected by Who's Who Among American High School Students for four years. She has participated in Future Business Leaders of America, Art Club, Spanish Club and PHS athletics. She was also a member of the Wolf Trail staff for two years.

Lacy is the 18-year-old son of Adell Hardamon and Calvin Lacy.

He has been on the honor roll for four years. He has been a National Honor Society member for three years. He has also been a Kiwanis honor student for three years and he has participated in Science Club, Quiz Bowl and gifted and talented. He has been selected by Who's Who Among American High School Students for two years.

Montoya is the 17-year-old daughter of Gustavo Montoya and Ana Ceclia Melo.

She has spent her senior year in Prescott as a foreign exchange student from Columbia. In her one year she earned a spot on the PHS honor roll. She has also participated in Art Club, Key Club, Spanish Club, Future Business Leaders of America and Future Farmers of America.

Moss is the 18-year-old daughter of Linda and Jerry Moore and Franklin Moss.

She has been on the honor roll four years. She has also been a Kiwanis honor student for two years. She has participated in Key Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Future Homemakers of America, OBU Talent Search, Choral Club, Student Council, Talent Show and Art Club. She has also been selected by Who's Who Among American High School Students for four years.

Niemyer is the 18-year-old son of Doris and Charles Niemyer.

He has been on the honor roll for two years. He has been involved in Student Council for three years. He has also been involved in the band, Art Club, Science Club, Quiz Bowl, Future Business Leaders of America and gifted and talented. He was also Boys State delegate.

Parks is the 18-year-old son of Steve and Donna Parks.

He has been on the honor roll for four years. He has also been a part of FBLA for four years. As a sophomore he was awarded the USAANA Award. He has been a class favorite and was a Kiwanis honor student for three years. He has also been the homecoming announcer, Who's Who Among High School Students an a National Honor Society for two years.

Spigner is the 18-year-old daughter of Carolyn Spigner.

She has been a Kiwanis honor student for three years. She has been involved in Future Business Leaders of America for three years. She has also been a member of gifted and talented, Wolf Trail and an office and library aide. She was a member of the band for two years and received All Region Band honors as a sophomore.

Stigaullde is the 18-year-old daughter of Danny and Kim Stigaullde.

She has been a Kiwanis honor student for three years. She was involved in National Honor Society and has been on the Wolf Trail staff for the last two years. She has been on the honor roll for four years. She was voted cutest by her senior class.

Wiley is the 17-year-old son of Sam and Kathryn Wiley.

He has been on the PHS honor roll for four years. He has been on National Honor Society member for two years. He has also been a Kiwanis honor student for three years. He has participated in the Art Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Quiz Bowl, gifted and talented, Choral Club and band.

Williams is the 18-year-old daughter of Ronald and Carolyn Williams.

She has been on the honor roll for four years. She has also been a member of National Honor Society for three years and she was a Kiwanis honor student for three years. She has also been selected by Who's Who Among American High School Students for four years.

Williamson is the 18-year-old daughter of Charles and Teresa Lambert.

She has been on the honor roll for four years. She was an active member in Future Business Leaders of America. She has been a Kiwanis honor student for two years. She has also been chosen by Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Windham is the 18-year-old daughter of Sherry and Billy Inscore.

She has been on the honor roll for four years. She has also been a Kiwanis honor student for two years. She has participated in Future Homemakers of America, Future Teachers of America and Future Farmers of America. She was also chosen by Who's Who Among American High School Students.
